What may be happening this week
This week is often called the middle of pregnancy; a detailed ultrasound is frequently done around these weeks. Timing and scope can vary depending on the doctor and the pregnancy's follow-up.
A note for you
For the mother, this may be a week of looking back and ahead at the same time. For the father or partner, going to appointments together or writing down questions together can be a simple way of taking part.
