What may be happening this week
During this period, the tissue between the fingers may recede, and tooth buds may begin to form. The head still looks quite large compared with the body; these proportions change over time.
A note for you
For the mother, this may be a week when clothes start to fit a little differently. For the father or partner, noticing these small changes and putting them into words can be a simple kind of closeness.
